Heavy express steam locomotive with a tender, class 498.1. Version as museum locomotive 498.104 of the Železnice Slovenskej Republiky (ŽSR). Current operating condition, as the locomotive is currently operational in Bratislava.

Locomotive and tender largely made of metal. Smoke insert installed as standard, with speed-dependent, dynamic smoke emission, digitally switchable. Triple headlights on the locomotive and dual headlights on the tender, which change depending on the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. Upper headlight can be switched separately. Illuminated locomotive number plate integrated into the upper headlight and functional. Driver's cab lighting can be controlled digitally. Lighting with maintenance-free warm white light-emitting diodes (LED). Adjustable close coupling with kinematics between locomotive and tender. Kinematically guided close coupling with NEM shaft on the tender. Buffer height on locomotive and tender according to NEM. Brake hoses, imitation screw coupling and an air container for attaching to the tender are included.
