In 1999, the Deutsche Bundesbahn would be 50 years old! For this anniversary, Fleischmann is putting an express train from the 1960s on the model rails. It is pulled by a class 38 steam locomotive, also known to many fans as the Prussian P 8, with a tub tender, large smoke deflectors, DB biscuit and triple headlights.

The cars of this express train are: a four-axle conversion car with luggage compartment and Prussian standard bogies, a four-axle conversion car 1st/2nd class. Class with Minden-Deutz bogies and two pieces of silver in the original green paintwork, one of which is equipped with electronic turnkey lighting.
