Standard electric locomotive E 10 1240 of the German Federal Railway (DB). High-speed locomotive as a Rheingold interim locomotive with a square locomotive body, 5 headlamps, all-round rain gutter and high-performance fan. Basic color cobalt blue/beige. Operating condition in summer 1962. Use: local and long-distance passenger trains.

New design. Housing and support made of die-cast zinc. Built-in digital decoder and noise generator for operation with DCC and Selectrix. Motor with flywheel, 4 axles powered, traction tires. Headlights and taillights that change with the direction of travel, with warm white LEDs, driver's cab lighting, can be controlled digitally. Kinematics for close coupling. Attached handlebars. Length over buffer 103 mm.
